National Sales Manager

ARX specializes in providing high-security perimeter systems such as temporary anti-scale fencing and mobile vehicle barriers to protect people from a range of threats. ARX is nationally recognized for our ability to move into action quickly while providing superior customer service and customized solutions for construction & industrial sites, government, military, police, music festivals & sporting events.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and dedicated individual to become a member of our professional sales staff. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Present, promote and sell our solutions to existing and prospective customers.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Reach out to customer leads through warm calling and contact lists.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within agreed upon time frames.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  • Attend industry conferences and trade shows.
  • Analyze market potential, track sales and status reports through our CRM.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  • Continuously improve through feedback from ARX leadership and peers.
  • Assist with new product development, partnerships, and new market strategies.
  • Set up and perform in person product demonstrations.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work or sales experience in the perimeter security industry is preferred, but not required.  
  • Excellent knowledge of Google and conducting virtual meetings.
  • Familiarity with CRM best practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Prior military service or police is a plus, but not required. 
  • Ability to continually pass a background check. 

Compensation and benefits 

  • Salary to be negotiated based on experience.
  • Quarterly bonuses.

  • Travel requirement of 20% - 35%, annually.
